I&#8217;m a certified<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/tabularasapsychology.com\/perinatal-mood-anxiety-disorders-pmad\/\">Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder<\/a> <span style=\"color: #999999;\">Specialist. I&#8217;ve attended several specialized trainings to help pregnant people understand and manage emotional concerns while pregnant, after pregnancy, and while trying to get pregnant. I help process loss and infertility, should that be a part of your journey &#8211; odds are high it is. As I age, I have started studying menopause and how that hormonal process can be involved in emotional changes and feel very similar to trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I am a certified<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/tabularasapsychology.com\/brainspotting\/\">Brainspotting<\/a> <span style=\"color: #999999;\">therapist. I love how this style of therapy helps remove triggers (especially birth trauma triggers) and has helped in so many areas to facilitate healing that is felt to the core (limbic system).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I completed training in transgender\/queer\/ non-binary identities which has helped me support families of transitioning individuals and create open communication with an increased understanding of the process. I&#8217;m fairly fluent in poly lifestyles and understand this may be a part of your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I wrote my dissertation on alternative therapies for anxiety and depression and have helped many better understand their psychological challenges using alternative or complementary modalities. We have<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/tabularasapsychology.com\/zyto\/\">Zyto Scan<\/a> <span style=\"color: #999999;\">technology available and can do a form of<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/tabularasapsychology.com\/genomic-testing\/\">genomic testing<\/a> <span style=\"color: #999999;\">that identifies missing supplements to match your DNA needs as well as tests for medication yays and nays. I&#8217;m also good at talking about when it&#8217;s time to consider a medication evaluation. She helped me with essential oils for my anxiety which without I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s my mental state would of been like. She helped me find a doula. She talked me down into a more peaceful place. Ultimately, she saved me. Not from harming myself or my baby. But she saved my spirit. She helped me be able to get through my days. And that made all the difference. As the end of my pregnancy neared I felt capable and ready for the adventure of being a Mom.
