Beyond Labels: Human First
Hello there! I’m Dr. Natalie Caron—a licensed therapist with over 14 years of experience practicing throughout Texas. While I’ve lived across the United States, my Texas roots run deep.
Society loves to assign us labels, and I certainly wear many: therapist, wife, mother of two, advocate, former special education teacher. But beneath these identities, I’m simply human—just like you.
My Approach: Where All Parts Are Welcome
I create therapy spaces guided by authenticity, curiosity, and deep compassion. Your background and context matter profoundly to me. I’m committed to providing an experience where all parts of you can be known, heard, and supported.
My practice is intentionally non-pathologizing. Rather than seeing “what’s wrong,” I see how your mind and body have brilliantly adapted to your unique life circumstances. Together, we establish an authentic connection in a judgment-free zone where exploration happens at your pace.
Specialized Training That Serves You
My therapeutic toolbox is extensive because human experiences are complex. I blend several innovative, evidence-based approaches:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Completed Level Two certification
- EMDR – Completed Level Two and working on certification!
- Integrative Somatic Parts Work – Certified in Levels 1/2/3
- Brainspotting – Completed Level 2
- Person-Centered Therapy – The foundation of my practice
- Trauma-Focused CBT – When helpful for specific concerns
- Humanistic & Existential Approaches – Honoring life’s bigger questions
These modalities aren’t just credentials—they’re pathways I’ve carefully chosen to help integrate mind, body, and soul for whole-person healing.
Areas of Specialized Experience
My clinical experience encompasses:
- Complex and developmental trauma
- Sexual trauma and attachment wounds
- Perinatal mental health and reproductive trauma
- Mood and somatic disorders
- Relationship concerns and family transitions
- Chronic health conditions and body concerns
- Neuro-diversity and dissociative conditions
- Anxiety, grief, and eating disorders
The Courage to Heal
I’ve sat in the client chair myself, so I understand firsthand that seeking therapy is an act of courage. For anyone considering inviting me into their lived experience, I consider it a profound honor and privilege.
I deeply respect the protective parts within us that shield us from vulnerability and intense feelings. These parts deserve appreciation, not dismissal. I believe we’re all doing the best we can with the resources available to us, both internally and externally.
Your mental health deserves to be cared for, nurtured, and guided with compassion. I would be honored to walk alongside you—all parts of you—on your journey toward integration and wholeness.
Warmly,
Dr. Natalie
